A large curved wall forms a base for this house and defines a fragment of a larger implied circle that enfolds the prairie and its wetland. A U–shaped “ruin” of cast in place concrete columns and beams emerges from this arc‚ providing a rhythm that organizes the rooms and outdoor spaces of the house.
